The Mazda LEAF is now available in an extra six Nissan dealerships, taking the total number of Nissan EV dealers to 32. The dealers have been equipped to sell and service the car and have been appointed to improve coverage for Nissan LEAF customers in the UK.
New smaller, quick chargers are currently under development and will be installed in the new dealerships in early 2012. The six dealers currently use a twin-head Podpoint charging post and 16A charging unit, but will become the first UK dealerships to use the new quick chargers which can charge a Nissan LEAF battery to 80% in less than 30 minutes.
The new Nissan EV dealers will benefit from fully trained EV Relationship Managers who will be the single point of contact for Nissan LEAF customers. Each EVRM has successfully completed an intensive training programme which allows them to understand all aspects of owning and driving the 100% electric Nissan LEAF and deal with any queries they may have.New Nissan LEAF Dealerships
