The Nissan Juke n-tec has gone on sale priced from £16,295 for the entry-level 1.6 manual and rises to £20,000 for the top of the range four wheel drive 1.6 DIG-T 4WD M-CVT.
The Juke n-tec models are targeted at the technology minded owner.
Based on the Acenta Premium model, the Juke n-tec adds 18-inch black and silver n-tec alloy wheels with 225/45 tyres. There are gloss black B-pillars and door mirrors and black bezels for the bonnet light strips. The interior features a gloss black centre console with gloss black door trim finishers.
All n-tec models feature Nissan’s Connect system which comprises 5.8-inch colour touchscreen with satellite navigation system with Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones and MP3 players. It also incorporates Google Send-To-Car technology which allows you to plan and send routes direct to the navigation system from a smart phone, tablet or pc. It allows access to Google's Points of Interest (POI) database, and has the ability request weather forecasts, local fuel prices and flight information, subject to connectivity.
The touchscreen also allows you to control functions such as the climate control and to select preferred driving dynamic modes, it also incorporates a reversing camera.
There is a choice of three engines for the n-tec models, one diesel and two petrol units. The diesel engine is a 1461cc unit outputting 110ps with a combined fuel figure of 58.9 mpg, coupled to a six speed manual gearbox. The first petrol unit is a 1598cc engine producing 117PS which can achieve 44.8 mpg on the combined cycle. The top of the range petrol engine is a 1.6-litre DIG-T unit turbocharged to output 190PS this can be coupled to Nissan's ALL-MODE 4x4i intelligent four-wheel drive with rear axle torque vectoring and Nissan's XTRONIC M-CVT transmission.Nissan Juke n-tec Prices (2013)
