Prime Offers For The Prime Selling Months Of July, August And September

New Space Star range and added value Colt and Pinin Attivo models launched.

Tesco national launch promotion for Space Star Lift Off.

The prime order taking and selling months for new car sales in the UK are now July, August and September.

To make sure customers have the best possible deals Mitsubishi Motors in the UK are continuing their programme of price reductions, added value, free insurance, free servicing or special edition added value models with a number of initiatives from July 1.

That is when the second generation European built Mitsubishi Space Star range is launched with, for the first time, a road fund license and tax friendly 1.9 direct injection turbocharged diesel engine included in the range.

This high roof 5-door hatchback has new looks, added value specification at the same price in most cases. Petrol heads are taken care of with 1.3 and 1.6 low emission petrol engines.

Prices start at just £9,995.

As with most Mitsubishi models, choosing which one to have is the most difficult issue, but paying is much easier. The new Space Star is available with Mitsubishi’s 50/50 finance option or low rate HP.

The Colt 3-door hatchback range sees the addition of a superb value 1.3 litre Attivo model boasting alloy wheels, central locking, electrically operated sunroof and windows, roof spoiler and stereo radio/cassette player – all for just £8,995.

Additionally for the third quarter only (July, August, September) the current Colt 1.3 Classics is reduced in price to £7,695 from £8,495 and the 1.3 Equippe goes down in price from £9,495 to £8,695.

The European manufactured Carisma 5-door which recently had a low emission direct injection diesel engine added to its line-up is also available with easy and low cost purchase terms of 50/50 or low rate HP or low rate PCP. Carisma prices start at £9,995.

Mitsubishi’s 4 wheel drive range starts with the compact Shogun Pinin. During July, August and September, 3 and 5-door Attivo 1.8 MPI models which get alloy wheels, front fog lights, spare wheel cover, chrome exhaust finisher, CD tuner, dashboard colour coded belt line are available with prices starting from as low as £12,995.

Additionally one year’s free insurance is offered on all new Shogun Pinin models bought during these three key months.

Mitsubishi’s larger 4 wheel drive models, particularly the recently introduced Animal versions have literally sold like hot cakes so a further consignment are being made available for September delivery. Likewise demand for the L200 Animal Double Cab has resulted in more being produced.

Galant models priced from £15995 and the versatile seven seat Space Wagon starting at £15,995, in common with all new Mitsubishi passenger cars (not including 4x4, Ralliart and L200 products), benefit from 3 years/27,000 mile free servicing if they are registered in July and August.

Tesco Lift Off for New Space Star

UK customers may get their first glimpse of the Space Star hatchback range not at a Mitsubishi dealership but by checking them out at Tesco stores nationwide from the 4 – 15 July.

The promotion allows any Mitsubishi dealer to display a Space Star and promote their dealership at their local Tesco store. At the same time each Mitsubishi dealer will be holding their own in-showroom promotion for their and Tesco customers. Visitors to UK showrooms have the opportunity to win over 700 prizes in a scratchcard competition. The prizes include ten £1000 Centreparc holiday vouchers, 200 family day vouchers for Alton Towers and 500 Tesco £10 vouchers.

Highlight of the promotion will be a Space Star Lift Off weekend to be held nationwide on 13 – 14 July. Mitsubishi customers along with Tesco’s customers will be heading to a family launch party for the new range of Space Star models. Three of these new £10,000 cars can be won in a free prize draw for holders of any of the winning scratchcards in the Mitsubishi and Tesco Lift Off promotion.

It is estimated that some 50,000 UK families will participate in this event at Mitsubishi dealerships.
