Mitsubishi Motors pricing policy remains the same - no price increases

In a week which has seen media reports condemning rising car prices, Mitsubishi Motors in the UK can categorically say that their pricing policy remains the same – no price increases on current models and new cars introduced at lower prices.

Mitsubishi’s ‘Vision of Value’ Summer campaign captures this philosophy with the new Space Star Mirage available from just £9,995 on the road. Mitsubishi have made the Space Star even more affordable with a payment plan of a deposit of £3,225 and a monthly payment of just £129 over three years.

With a completely new style of registration plate being introduced this September, sales of new cars in this prime month could be the highest monthly total ever. To mark the new plate change, with selected offers only available until the end of September, Mitsubishi is continuing its retail customer focused campaign of the right cars at the right time, right price, – right now.

The new plate has a different typeface and is in the style of two letters, two numbers, three letters, for example OK 51 MMC. The first two letters will identify from which county the vehicle was purchased, the number identifies the period of registration, with the last 3 letters being selected at random.

Space Star Mirage

Mitsubishi have introduced the Space Star Mirage available with a 1.3 or 1.6 litre petrol engine. Priced from £9,995 for the 1.3, and £10,695 for the 1.6 litre version, this special action model represents excellent value for money. Available in either Haag silver or Bolsena blue, both models have alloy wheels, central locking, front electric windows, radio/cassette, driver and passenger airbags, metallic paint, colour coded bumpers and mirrors and alloy dashboard trim.

Award Winning Pick-Ups

With a 35% share of the Pick-Up market, Mitsubishi’s award winning L200 Double Cab is a popular choice for customers looking for a versatile vehicle which performs equally well as a conventional workhorse or for normal every day use. To meet customer demand Mitsubishi have recently introduced the Trojan Double Cab, with four versions of varying specification levels starting at £13,995* on the road.

Mitsubishi have also introduced the Triton Double Cab - a 3.0 V6 petrol version, with prices starting at £17,714.89* on the road.

Mitsubishi are offering the L200 Double Cab 4-Life on contract hire from just £10 a day.

Shogun Pinin 3 Door

Other new vehicle offers include automatic Shogun Pinin three doors on sale for the same price as their manual equivalents – representing a saving of £1,000 with the 1.8 GDI Shogun Pinin Equippe Automatic on sale from £13,495. Also, at a time of rising insurance premiums the Shogun Pinin three door comes with one year’s free insurance.

Carisma 1.8 GDI Equippe

Mitsubishi’s environmentally friendly Carisma, the 1.8 GDI Equippe is on sale at just £12,995, representing a saving of nearly £1,000. The Carisma is well specified with ABS, air conditioning, alloy wheels, central locking, electric heated mirrors, stereo/radio cassette, front electric windows and driver’s and passenger’s airbags all as standard.

Easier To Buy

Mitsubishi offers a ’one-stop-shop’ buying facility as you can buy, tax and insure your vehicle under one roof, making it even easier and faster to buy. Finance offers include Mitsubishi’s popular 50/50 finance programme** with other plans available on Mitsubishi’s own ‘Alternatives’ scheme.

Paul Williams, Sales & Marketing Director says; "For the first seven months of this year our UK sales are nearly 14% up on this time last year. We believe our policy of having the right products at the right prices and being totally focused on what customers really want has given us the edge in the very competitive price sensitive new car market."
