Mitsubishi Motors in the UK have confirmed the appointment of a new dealership in Bridgend.
Lee & Turner Mitsubishi opened their doors for the sales and servicing of Mitsubishi vehicles this week.
Situated in Waterton Lane, Bridgend, in an area that has become renown for its motor trade outlets, this latest addition to Mitsubishi’s nationwide dealer network covers an area encompassing Bridgend and the towns of Cowbridge, Maesteg and Porthcawl. The territory also extends to the boundaries of Port Talbot and Cardiff.
Lee & Turner was founded in 1985 by John Lee and Bryn Turner, its original premises at Waterton Cross. Initially a franchise for another manufacturer, the company moved to its present site ten years ago before taking on a further two franchises in 1993 and 1998.
To accommodate the introduction of Mitsubishi, the company’s extensive Waterton Lane premises have recently been extended to include a new and dedicated showroom.
In addition to promoting the full range of Mitsubishi cars, MPV’s, pick-ups and the acclaimed 4x4 Shogun models, Lee & Turner will also be able to offer its customers extensive after sales facilities, which include; modern workshops, sales of Mitsubishi parts and accessories, bodywork repairs and MOT testing.
The dealership is also designated a ‘Red Zebra’ location, Mitsubishi UK’s brand which markets quality checked and warranted used vehicles.
Managing Director, John Lee, is confident that his company’s association with Mitsubishi will be successful:
"We are delighted to be appointed as Mitsubishi dealers for this area. Mitsubishi’s excellent range of vehicles fits perfectly into our existing business and enables us to offer our customers a car for all occasions."
The appointment of Lee & Turner brings the number of Mitsubishi dealers in Britain up to 140 - the highest number of sites for ten years.
