Mitsubishi Motors U.K delivered ten L200 GL double cabs to Gunn JCB, the country’s largest JCB dealership. The vehicles will be used by Gunn JCB’s servicing managers, and will be distributed to the whole Gunn JCB network throughout the U.K. For the distinctive JCB feel, the L200’s have also been sprayed the trademark JCB yellow. The L200 GL double cab has advance capabilities on all terrain, emphasising the tough image all JCB’s are renowned for.
The Mitsubishi L200’s will be used by the servicing managers in their normal role, travelling to various sites around the country to carry out any necessary on-site repairs.
‘The L200 double cab was the perfect vehicle for us’, says Mark Schaefer of Gunn JCB. ‘ In our industry, any company car has to be able to carry large spare parts and travel to sites where the JCB machinery is – not necessarily smooth terrain – as well as have the space and comfort to be a passenger vehicle. It also had to project the right image for Gunn JCB, and I am pleased to say that the Mitsubishi L200 had everything we were looking for’.
Lance Bradley Sales and Marketing Director said, ‘The L200 is a leader in its class with 46% of the market, and is known as a reliable, stylish and versatile vehicle. We are very pleased that Gunn JCB are happy with the vehicles and look forward to working with them in the future’.
The Mitsubishi L200 has won many industry awards, being voted the best pick-up in What Van? Six times over the past eight years, and benefits from the technology used in the renowned Mitsubishi Shogun.
