Mitsubishi Shogun

A rejuvenated product line-up, mixing many new models with some top selling favourites, has given Mitsubishi Motors UK a record first quarter sales result for 2005.

To celebrate, the quality Japanese marque’s 144 dealers are offering customers a selection of springtime special offers. Aimed at tempting even more buyers to discover the many benefits of Mitsubishi ownership, these ‘limited-period only’ incentives provide discounts of up to £2,000 across some of the brand’s most desirable vehicles.

The acclaimed Colt, now established as a key contender on the supermini scene, reaffirms its competitive position with the offer of a free sunroof across all 3 and 5-door models fitted with this feature. There’s also a £1,000 discount on 1.1 Equippe and 1.3 Elegance 5-door models. This brings the on-the-road price of the 1.1 Colt Equippe down to £8,999 - exceptional value for a car that’s loaded up with air conditioning, CD player, electric windows, alloy wheels and ABS. The more powerful 107bhp 1.5 Elegance with automated manual transmission gets a free sunroof and comes down in price for a limited period by £1,500 to £10,499.

With the option of direct injection diesel or V6 petrol power plus short or long wheelbases, Mitsubishi’s Shogun remains a popular choice with those who need a tough and reliable yet well-appointed 4x4. Until 30th June, a £2,000 reduction is being offered on the list price of LWB Shogun Equippe models, and £1,500 off the SWB Shogun Elegance; for just £24,999 customers can now have a seven-seat LWB Shogun Equippe complete with a gutsy 3.2 direct injection diesel engine, stability and traction control, ABS, electric windows and mirrors, climate control, front and side airbags, alloy wheels, front fog lights plus keyless entry and alarm - that’s a lot of car for the money.

Mitsubishi’s smaller 4x4s also get a sale price for the spring with £2,000 taken off all Shogun Pinin models including the entry-level 1.8 Pinin Equippe 3-door, now available for only £11,249 OTR . The new Outlander Sport SE, top of Mitsubishi’s new crossover 4x4 range, gets a temporary reduced price tag of £16,749.

Of course, it’s not all about price. Customers can be assured of complete peace of mind thanks to Mitsubishi’s three-year unlimited mileage warranty package plus three year pan-European breakdown cover - included in the cost of every new vehicle bought from an authorised UK dealer.
