The Mitsubishi Mirage has arrived and it is priced from £8,999 for the entry-level Mirage 1 through to £12,999 for the Mirage 3 CVT.
In the UK there is a choice of two petrol engines either a 1.0-litre unit on the Mirage 1; and a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine for Mirages 2 & 3. Auto Stop & Go will be standard on the 1.2-litre engine. The Mirage 1, 2 and 3 are available with a five-speed manual transmission while a CVT auto option is available on the Mirage 3.
The 1.0-litre unit outputs 71PS and on the official combined cycle is capable according to Mitsubishi of 67.3 mpg, whilst emitting 96 g/km CO2, which currently means it is road tax exempt.
The 1.2-litre engine Auto Stop & Go outputs 80PS; the Mirage 2 model achieves 68.9 mpg on the combined cycle with 96 g/km, Mirage 3 manual 65.7 mpg/100 g/km and the Mirage 3 CVT 68.9 mpg / 95 g/km.
Every model is currently exempt from the London Congestion Charge and road tax exempt. All models feature ‘Eco Drive Assist’ which displays in the instrument cluster a visual indication of how economically the vehicle is being driven based on current fuel consumption and vehicle speed.
Despite its compact size the Mirage can accommodate 235-litres of luggage which increases to 600-litres with the seats folded down.

The Mitsubishi Mirage has a 3-year / unlimited mileage warranty together with a pan-European roadside assistance package. The service interval for the Mirage is 12,500 miles/12 months (whichever occurs first). You can add mats and flaps pack for £199 which includes Front & rear mat set, Front & rear mud flaps, Front & rear door sill protector and a Textile boot mat.
