Mitsubishi L200 Warrior Pick-Up

Rising star of the wakeboarding world, Hamish Lowe, is all set to wow the crowds at the 2005 UK National Wakeboard and Wakeskate championships. Taking place at Thorpe Lakes in Chertsey on 13 and 14 August, 24 year old Hamish will not only be one of the coolest competitors on the water but will also impress off the water with his Mitsubishi L200 Warrior pick-up.

Supplied by Mitsubishi Motors UK, Hamish has been showing-off his new wheels around the UK at numerous wakeboarding demo-days and top-level competitions throughout the summer months.

With Mitsubishi’s ever increasing presence in the 4x4 lifestyle market, Hamish and the fast-growing sport of wakeboarding forms an important part of the company’s strategy to promote the brand amongst a very targeted audience.

On taking delivery of the vehicle Hamish commented, "The L200 Warrior looks awesome and has plenty of room for all my kit, boards, wetsuits the lot. I also need a 4x4 as some of the road shows and competitions are based at locations which can prove pretty interesting to access. The Mitsubishi pick-up does everything I need it to."

The Mitsubishi L200 Warrior pick-up can carry up to five people, lug over one-tonne of kit and tow 2.7 tonnes if needed. Add this versatility to the commanding on-road image of the L200 pick-up and the suitability of the vehicle for outdoor-sports enthusiasts becomes clear.

Currently the market leader, taking 42% of all pick-up sales in the UK, the L200 is available in a variety of specifications and body-types including single, double and club cab variants. The L200 Warrior continues to be the top selling model from the range featuring leather seats, air con and CD player all as standard. Also popular is the recently launched range-topping Animal, which gains satellite navigation and DAB digital radio. The range starts at £10,299 CVOTR for the 4Work single cab through to £19,999 CVOTR for the L200 Animal.
