Mitsubishi have released the L200 Challenger Double Cab model priced from £19,798 (£16,499+VAT).
The L200 pick-up range accounts for around 20% of the overall pick up market and now that all L200’s come with a five-year / 125,000 mile warranty (whichever comes first) we would expect to see sales increase. There is also the three year Mitsubishi Assistance Package (MAP) which includes 24/7 UK home and roadside breakdown assistance, and European roadside assistance in over 30 European countries.
Power comes from a 4 cylinder 2.5-litre diesel engine outputting 175 bhp / 295Nm, making it capable of 0-62 mph in 12.1 seconds and a top speed of 111 mph. On the combined cycle NEDC figures indicate 39.2 mpg on the combined cycle with CO2 emissions of 208 g/km.
The Mitsubishi L200 Challenger equipment highlights include 17” alloy wheels, cruise control, climate control air conditioning, automatic windscreen wipers and auto-on headlights, privacy glass, Bluetooth connectivity and a leather steering wheel & gear shift knob.
