Mitsubishi have announced today that from the 1st January 2015 all cars and commercial vehicles will come with a five-year warranty as standard, including the L200.
There is a mileage limited 62.5k, so it case of which comes first – this mileage limit applies to all models except the L200 which come with 5 years / 125k miles warranty for retail and small business only.
Even the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV EV and ICE components are both 5 years /62.5k miles.
Mitsubishi’s accessory warranty remains at 3 years. All vehicles have a 12 year anti perforation warranty and come with a three-year, pan European roadside assistance package – MAP (Mitsubishi Assistance Package).
All 12v batteries and O2 sensors across all models are limited to 3 years/ 65.5k warranty. All injectors and glow plugs in all models are limited to 3 years/62.5k. And as with the L200, Shogun model condenser fan motors are limited to 3 years/ 62.5k.
As will all warranties there are terms and conditions, and these should be checked before making a purchasing decision.
