Mitsubishi has signed up to the Motor Codes New Car Code, affirming commitment to first class customer service. Motor Codes provides a guidelines and advice service, offering UK car buyers reassurance that the carmaker is operating under the guidelines.
Mitsubishi's move is a part of a recent customer satisfaction drive which includes online publication of customer ratings for the dealer network.
Sharon Townsend, General Manager –Service at Mitsubishi, said: "Customer expectation is higher than ever and the quality of the overall customer experience must match that of the product. In today's fast-moving online retail environment, the ability for customers to access real-time reviews and obtain independent feedback is important. Through its motorist advice line and service and repair reviews, Motor Codes complements our own Excellent Service initiatives, helping to increase customer confidence levels."
Motor Codes provides three sets of service level expectations covering new car sales, car service and repair and vehicle warranty products. The advice line includes a free conciliation service for motorists, to act as an independent intermediary when required.
Mitsubishi has a UK dealer and service only network of 138 sites are all committed to the Motor Codes New Car Codes.
Chris Mason, managing director at Motor Codes said: "The whole network is now committed to the New Car Code. Those dealers that go on to sign up to the Service and Repair Code open themselves up to receiving online reviews via the Motor Codes Garage Finder, enhancing their local marketing campaigns."
