MINI is supporting the Red Bull Art of Motion as it moved from London to five more cities around the world, who will host some free-running events this year.
The five cities - Yokohama (30 July 2011), Sao Paulo (11 August 2011), Detroit (August 2011), Santorini (September 2011) and Green Island Kuwait (October 2011)- will see top free-runners from around the world take each other on in a publicly staged contest at each venue.
MINI will be presenting the MINI Sickest Trick Award at each event to the athlete who performs the most spectacular trick.
Based on MINI's "Creative Use of Space" philosophy, the athletes will make inventive use of features on the course - which will include a MINI - to execute stunts and moves. Judges will score the presentation based on such criteria as movement, creativity and technical level, as well as keeping an eye out for the most spectacular performance.
