Dean and Dan Caten - the designers known as DSQUARED²- have presented some initial sketches for the MINI that they have been designing for the 2011 Life Ball.

Just weeks before the unveiling of the one off model on 21st May 2011, the Canadian twins are giving people a preview of the the MINI must-have for men will look like. Since 2001, designers have been designing one off MINIs as part of the Life Ball. This year, MINI is supporting Europes biggest AIDS charity for the 11th time. The proceeds of each year's one-off MINI go to projects combating HIV/AIDS.

Designers including Agent Provocateur, Donatella Versace, Diesel, Missoni and Gianfranco Ferre have designed MINI for the Life Ball.

The twins have been fans of the MINI for some time. In April 2010, they kitted out the MINI Countryman with a selection of essentials for travelling. Dean and Dan were thrilled at the opportunity to design a MINI Cooper S: "If we were a car, it would be rugged and robust. Our MINI 'Red Mudder' is an accurate reflection of that. With the maple leaf on both doors and the DSQUARED² logo on the front shield and wheels, this is unmistakably our style."

The 19th Life Ball will be held in Vienna on 21st May 2011 and will play host to celebrities from around the world.
