Approved used MINI weekend 2/3 June

MINI dealerships across the UK will be putting the spotlight on the Approved used MINI programme, MINI Cherished, on the weekend of 2nd and 3rd June. Potential customers will be able to view a large variety of cars in the range from first-generation hatches and Convertibles with the comfort of knowing that all cars have passed the thorough, detailed checks to be allowed on the scheme.

There will also be the chance to be entered into a competition to win a UK weekend break worth £300 and MINI Insurance is offering a 25 per cent discount on its policies.*

A Cherished MINI offers: 12 month unlimited mileage warranty, 12 month Emergency service cover, 12 month MOT, independent mileage and history check and full service history.

In addition, with 96 per cent of new MINI buyers purchasing the five years / 50,000 miles MINI tlc and tlc XL service packages, it’s likely that a Cherished buyer will benefit from these as the packs are transferable to subsequent owners.

Andy Hearn, MINI UK General Manager: “The award-winning MINI Cherished scheme offers assurance to customers that they’re buying a MINI in the best possible condition for their driving adventures. MINI’s excellent residual values mean owners also have the added confidence of making a good financial decision. Six years after the car first went on sale and even with the arrival of the 2nd generation MINI, a typical three-year old MINI Cooper still holds a value of 73 per cent on the forecourt, up to 20 per cent more than an average competitor**. ”

MINI Cherished sales have been increasing in line with the new car sales. In 2006, 23,746 Cherished MINIs were sold and year to date in April, sales are up by nearly 25 per cent.
