The Motability Car Scheme allows people who qualify to lease a new car in exchange for part or all of their weekly allowances under the High rate Motability Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Motability Supplement. From the 8th April 2013, Personal Independence Payment (PIP) will replace Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
Under the scheme, the MG6 comes with free insurance, service and maintenance, full RAC breakdown cover, annual car tax, free replacement tyres and windscreen and a 60,000 miles allowance over the three years of the scheme.
Andrew Lowerson, MG’s Product Manager, said: “MG dealers can offer test drives to anyone who wants to fully appreciate the car and, to make things as easy as possible, dealers will carry out demonstration drives at a time and a place convenient to the customer via our MG2U scheme.”
