Mazda’s new MX-Micro Sport concept offers a compact version of new-generation muscularity, combined with a roomy interior and a powerful 2.0-litre petrol engine. It represents Mazda’s latest effort to strengthen its line up with a strong and sporty vehicle based on the Mazda2 platform.
The MX-Flexa’s design is sculptured and sporty, like all new-generation Mazda vehicles, yet modern and sophisticated, and of course carried out with recognisable Mazda build quality to create a purposeful and sporty personality.
Despite its dynamic and compact design, Mazda’s new MX-Micro Sport has an interior that is spacious and comfortable with ample headroom and space for four adults, with a colour combination and design details combined to create a sense of quality and design sophistication.
The new Mazda MX-Micro Sport uses its compact dimensions to make driving the car a real joy. Superior driving dynamics provide good straight-line stability, progressive steering with sharp turn-in feel, and extremely linear brake response.
These attributes combine with a powerful 2.0-litre 148bhp (150ps) petrol engine, with maximum torque of 187Nm (138lb ft) at 4,500 rpm, to deliver a fantastic sub-compact that looks great, boasts excellent driving dynamics and can transport up to four people in comfort and style.
