Murray Mazda - the new name for Mazda in Edinburgh - has opened for business with showrooms at two newly renovated locations in Sighthill and Seafield.
The dealerships are the latest acquisitions for Scotland’s second largest multi-franchise motor group, The John Martin Group, and the Mazda showrooms sit adjacent to Murray’s Volvo franchises at the same sites.
Gavin Kynoch, sales manager of Murray Mazda at the Sighthill branch, expressed the delight of The John Martin Group at continuing Mazda’s strong heritage in the Scottish capital.
"We are delighted to be adding the Mazda brand name to our list of franchised dealerships. Mazda has enjoyed amazing success in the past couple of years with new models like the incredible Mazda RX-8 and the Mazda6 (Scottish Car of the Year in 2002) making a huge mark on the motoring industry," said Mr Kynoch.
Gill Gillanders, general manager at the Seafield site, echoed Mr Kynoch's views and explained how The John Martin Group’s experienced staff members are looking not only to sustain, but also to improve, Mazda’s reputation in Edinburgh and Scotland.
"The aim of the new dealerships is to provide superior levels of customer care and service to existing and future Mazda owners in the Lothians," commented Ms Gillanders.
"The John Martin Group has a wealth of experience in supplying the people of Scotland with unrivalled consumer satisfaction levels."
The John Martin Group is now in its 40th year and represents 15 franchises from 27 locations throughout Scotland. Trading under the names Belmont, Dunedin Motor Company and Murray Motor Company, it has amassed experience with many top brands including BMW, Rolls Royce and Aston Martin.
The addition of Mazda to the group’s ranks is a clear indicator of its ever-increasing prominence among the Scottish motoring sector.
All cars from the impressive Mazda range can be viewed at Murray Mazda, Bankhead Drive, Sighthill Industrial Estate, Edinburgh, or Murray Mazda, Seafield Road East, Edinburgh.
