The new four-door Maserati Ghibli is to previewed at the Shanghai Motor Show, it is the sportier younger sibling to the new larger Quattroporte, which was launched at the start of the year.
The new Maserati Ghibli will be powered by a choice of either a petrol turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 or a 3.0 litre V6 turbo diesel and will be the first Maserati to be powered a diesel engine.
It will be available with an eight-speed automatic transmission and both rear-wheel drive and the new “Q4” all-wheel drive system.
Maserati are aiming to sell 50,000 cars per annum and the Ghibli is set to be key to this goal.
