The new Range Rover has been awarded top-marks in the latest Euro NCAP test results.
Overall it scored five-stars – with an adult occupant rating of 91%, child occupant 84%, pedestrian 63% and safety assist 86%.
The pedestrian rating perhaps is a little low but not surprising bearing in mind the design of bonnet and where the engine sits, Land Rover are working on ways to improve pedestrian protection.
It should be pointed out that to date Euro NCAP has not tested a similar size vehicle to Range Rover under the new more stringent tests.
