The Range Rover Autobiography programme allows customers to take the already extensive specification of the Range Rover and develop it further, to meet their individual needs. Autobiography provides a comprehensive menu of colours, options and trim combinations to personalise both the interior and exterior of the vehicle.Range Rover has peerless on and off-road performance, and an interior that has been acclaimed as one of the finest seen in any automobile. With a comprehensive array of standard and optional equipment available, the Range Rover can meet virtually every customer need.
But, for those who desire something different, the Autobiography programme enables the customer to build a truly unique vehicle, one that fully meets his or her individual requirements.
Commented Land Rover's managing director, Matthew Taylor: "Range Rover has a unique appeal around the world and many of our customers wanted their Range Rover to reflect their lifestyle or aspirations. The Autobiography programme is a natural way of allowing customers to achieve exactly the vehicle they want."
An Autobiography customer can choose from 25 additional colours, subtle shades such as Bordeaux Red through to the vibrant Sahara Yellow. If the extended colour palette is still insufficient, a Range Rover Autobiography can be painted in any colour the owner desires. Such is the attention to detail, that over 30 hours of hand painting and polishing will be spent on each vehicle. To enhance the exterior still further, a colour-keyed body kit is also available.
The interior also receives special attention from Land Rover's craftsmen. There are 10 interior colourway combinations available, with perforated leather upholstery fitted to the centre band of the seat, enhancing both style and comfort. The wood finish of the Range Rover is further augmented with the choice of four additional real wood veneers: Grand Black Lacquer, Burr Maple Prussian Blue, Lined Oak Anthracite and Vavona Burl Amber.
