The ‘Land Rover G4 Challenge’ show, charting the progress of 16 men and women from around the world on a gruelling 4x4 driving and multi-sport challenge, starts on Channel 4 at 7.30am, Saturday 8 November 2003.
Three shows will follow at the same time on Saturday 15 November, 22 November and 29 November, showing the competitors’ advance through four stages on North America's East coast, in South Africa, Australia and back to North America's West coast, respectively.
The inaugural Land Rover G4 Challenge climaxed in the Utah desert earlier this year, and by the end of the four-week event, saw competitors cover a total of over 6,400 kilometres in planes, kayaks, on foot, mountain bikes and of course, in each of Land Rover’s product range, comprising the Freelander, Defender, Discovery and Range Rover.
One competitor finished triumphantly, and took the winning prize of a new Range Rover. To find out who, tune in over the next four Saturdays on Channel 4 at 7.30am.
