The new Land Rover Discovery Sport is set to go on sale in 2015 with its unveiling at this year's Paris Motor Show, which takes place in September.
It designed to take on the likes of the new Volvo XC90 and the Audi Q5, in an increasingly competitive segment.
It will run alongside the Discovery and as the name suggests it will offer a more sporty option to the chunky SUV, yet still retain the ability to carry 7 people with three rows of seats. Although looking at the design of new Discovery Sport we would imagine this means, five adults and two smallish children in the third row and no real luggage. We assume that the +2 seats will fold flat into the boot floor to increase the cargo hold with little impact on space.
