with special permission from Rome the new Lamborghini LP 700-4 Aventador is on display for the next two weeks in Rome's Campidoglio square, a first for any car manufacturer.

As part of Lamborghini's international launch of the new V12, a programme of events between 26th April and 8th May 2011 will run in Rome, to entertain Romans and tourists during the Easter festivities.

The 26th April will see a procession across the city, with the Lamborghini LP 700-4 Aventador leading historic Lamborghini models including the 350 GT, Miura, Countach, Diablo and Murcielago. The parade will gather at 10.00am and set off at 11.00am, sent of their way by Mayor Gianni Alemanno and Lamborghini Present and CEO Stephan Winkelmann and escorted by the police.

There will be a temporary Lamborghini museum set up in the historic Bramante's Cloister. With free entry for the public it will be open between the hours of 10.00am and 9.00pm. Lamborghini will also operate a temporary merchandise store in Scuderie Rispoli at via Fontanella Borghese 56/B for the two weeks.

Historic cars and Lamborghini Aventadors will be displayed for the whole period in areas like piazza di Spagna, via Veneto, Bramante's cloister and other central locations.
