The new face lifted Kia Venga is now on sale, featuring a restyled front and rear ends with a freshened interior focusing on new materials and equipments. There is a new top of range model, the Venga 4, which are produced at Zilina in Slovakia.
The Venga has a footprint measured at 4,068 mm (l) x 1,765 mm (w) x 1,600 mm (h) with a 2,615mm wheelbase, there is between 440 and 1,253 litres of cargo space.
There is a choice of five trim levels for the new 2015 Venga range, the ‘1’, ‘1 Air’, ‘2’, ‘3’ and ‘4’.
Key equipment across the range includes driver's seat height adjustment, tilt and telescopic steering wheel adjustment, electric front windows, remote central locking, tinted glass, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, and electrically adjustable heated door mirrors. Safety equipment includes tyre pressure monitoring, six airbags (front, side and curtains), active front head restraints and two ISOFIX child-seat mounting points.
Kia Venga 2 gains, alloy wheels, an iPod cable, Bluetooth hands-free mobile phone operation with music streaming, rear electric windows, folding door mirrors and reversing sensors.
The Venga 3 comes with all of the above plus LED day time running lights, auto-on headlights, climate control, front and rear electric windows, front fog lamps, privacy glass on the rear windows and tailgate and cruise control with a speed limiter. Standard equipment also includes a 7-inch touchscreen satellite navigation system with European mapping and a Traffic Messaging Channel (TMC) plus reversing camera. You lose the CD player but you can plug iPods and MP3 players via the Aux and USB ports. The interior is trimmed in black Bamboo part-leather and part-cloth upholstery.
The top-of-the-range Venga 4 gains, smart key with engine start/stop button, a heated steering wheel, LED rear lights, panoramic sunroof.
There are four engine choices, 1.4-litre (89 BHP) and 1.6-litre (123 BHP) petrol units and 1.4-litre (89 BHP) and 1.6-litre (114 BHP) petrol diesel engines. The 1.4-litre petrol is available in ‘1’, ‘1 Air’ and ‘2’ trims where the 1.4-litre diesel is only available in ‘2’ trim. Both the petrol and diesel 1.6-litre engine is available with ‘3’ and ‘4’ trims with a manual transmissions or if you prefer a four-speed automatic, the 1.6 petrol can be specified in ‘2’,’3’ and ‘4’ trim levels.

The Kia Venga is supported by a transferable seven-year/100,000 mile manufacturer warranty, the first three years offer unlimited mileage cover, where year’s four to seven are limited to under 100,000 miles.
