The new Kia Sorento has been awarded the prestigious ‘iF Design Award’ in the ‘product’ category for the overall quality of its design.
The new Sorento which goes on sale in Europe in March 2015 is available with a choice of five or seven seats with a larger luggage area accommodating up to 1,732 litres and a longer wheelbase.
Available with a 2.2-litre 200 PS turbodiesel engine and four-wheel drive versions are equipped with Kia’s Dynamax All-Wheel-Drive system with torque vectoring.
Specification includes a 60:40 split rear seat, 360-degree Around View Monitor and smart parking system, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control.
We think Kia are sensible to offer customers a choice of five or seven seats and we are looking forward to road testing the new Sorento.
