Jaguar has introduced two new XK models, the Signature and Dynamic R, both available in Coupe or Convertible format. We understand both models are available to order now with deliveries expected in March 2014.
The XK Signature is powered by a 385PS 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine producing 515Nm of torque. That is capable of 0-62 mph in 5.5 seconds (coupe) / 5.6 seconds (convertible) with an electronically limited 155 mph top speed via a six-speed ZF automatic box.
The combined economy cycle is 25.2 mpg (NEDC figures) with CO2 emissions of 264 g/km.
Over the standard model, you gain 20’’ Kalimnos wheels as standard, with 20” Takoba wheels available as an option, while the XK Dynamic R has 20” Vortex diamond turned wheels - with distinctive Red painted brake calipers - and the option of 20” Vulcan Gloss Black lightweight alloys.
There are Luxury seats with the option of either Ivory or Charcoal soft grain leather. The interior features Canvas Suedecloth headlining, Figured Ebony veneers and Bright Metal sport pedals.
The XK Dynamic R features a 510PS 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine producing 625Nm of torque mated to a six-speed ZF automatic gearbox. That is capable of 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds (coupe) with an electronically limited 174 mph top speed.
The combined economy cycle is 23.0 mpg using NEDC data with CO2 emissions of 292 g/km.
The XK Dynamic R standard is fitted with the Black Dynamic Pack, incorporating XKR-S suspension and dynamics and a 10mm reduction in ride height, plus Speed Pack aerodynamic upgrades and a range of other additions including performance seats with contrast stitch. It also features the Performance Active Exhaust as standard equipment, which should send a shrive down your spine
The XK Dynamic R features diamond sewn Performance seats in either Ivory/Charcoal soft grain leather with Ivory contrast stitch or Charcoal/Red soft grain leather with Red contrast stitch leather. The headlining is Jet Suedecloth complemented with Piano Black veneers. Bright Metal sport pedals are also fitted as standard.
Both models are available with a choice of exterior body colours - Polaris White, Ultimate Black, Stratus Grey, Italian Racing Red, Dark Sapphire and British Racing Green.
