Revealed to the world last week, the all-new Jaguar XJ will be making one of its first public appearances alongside some of the world's most luxurious brands at the 2009 Gulf Luxury Fair. Taking place from 25th - 27th July 2009 in London's InterContinental Hotel on Park Lane, this annual luxury-shopping fair attracts wealthy shoppers from both the UK and the Middle East.
Managing Director of Jaguar in the UK, Geoff Cousins, said: "This luxury-fuelled event is ideal for showcasing our exciting new Jaguar. Not only will we reach an important UK audience, 70 per cent of visitors will be from the Middle East which is undoubtedly a key market for the all-new XJ. This new sports saloon builds on the success of the new XK and XF models, making it a landmark for the revitalised Jaguar brand."
Other exhibitors at the Gulf Luxury Fair include; Saudi Arabian fashion designer Amina Al Jassim, Temperley London, luxury properties by Harrods Estates and Hamptons International, bespoke menswear by 40 Saville Row and luxury accessories, watches and perfumes by Saudi owned Yeslam.
Sleek, sporting and sophisticated, the all-new Jaguar XJ brings a daring new spirit to automotive luxury - it offers a seductive mix of striking design, breathtaking performance and engineering without compromise.
Standard- and long-wheelbase models are available and the long-wheelbase offers an even more sumptuous and refined environment for rear-seat passengers with an additional 125mm of legroom. Whichever the wheelbase, the Jaguar XJ's 520-litre boot can swallow two large suitcases side-by-side.
All of Jaguar's acclaimed new ultra-efficient petrol and diesel engines will be available in the Jaguar XJ. The 3.0-litre V6 diesel, 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 and 5.0-litre supercharged V8 have already proved their breadth of ability in the Jaguar XF. Fuel economy and emissions are also outstanding, with the diesel-powered Jaguar XJ returning combined economy figures of 40.1mpg and CO2 emissions of 184g/km.
Inside the car, advanced new technologies have allowed Jaguar's designers to create an environment more akin to a state-of-the-art living space than a simple car cabin. Premium surround sound options include the top-of-the-range 1200W Bowers & Wilkins system, which is comparable in audio quality to the best in-home entertainment.
The all-new Jaguar XJ is available to order now, with the first customers due to receive their cars in early 2010. Prices start at £52,500 for the standard wheelbase 3.0-litre V6 diesel luxury.
