With the launch of the critically acclaimed XF, Jaguar made a definitive statement - it is a brand that understands cutting edge design, style and exquisite craftsmanship. Who better then to join forces with The Sunday Times Style magazine for its fashion extravaganza 'Style in the City'?
The Birmingham based event runs from April 3rd to the 6th and offers fashionistas an opportunity to view collections from some of the world’s leading designers including British names, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Alice Temperley and Matthew Williamson who will be showcasing his '08 autumn range.
Unique in its approach, 'Style in the City' will take place in several locations across the city including The Mailbox, Bull Ring and Centenary Square and to ensure event goers* really do arrive in style, Jaguar will be on hand to chauffeur guests between these venues in a fleet of luxury XJ's.
Geoff Cousins, Managing Director of Jaguar UK said; "It is great to see Jaguar teaming up with the Sunday Times to support 'Style in the City', after all Jaguar builds one of its most stunning and contemporary models - the XF, in Birmingham."
This is the first time an event of this scale has come to Britain's second city and looks set to attract scores of fashion savvy women from across the UK with its tantalising combination of fashion, spa treatments, make-overs, music and of course stylish cars - both the new XF and XK will be on display at the catwalk show.
The three day event will be hosted by Kelly Osborne and feature two of the city's hottest talents; model Gabriella Riggon-Allen of Agent Provocateur fame and fashion designer Jacob Kimmie who made waves at last month’s London Fashion Week. Also making its debut is Trinny Woodhall and Susannah Constantine's Style Academy.
