What Car? Magazine has revealed Jaguar as a leading manufacturer in a UK owner satisfaction survey. Not only has the Jaguar XF scooped the title of best executive model on its JD Power debut, but the Jaguar XF finished second overall and helped Jaguar to its position as third out of 27 manufacturers - an improvement of 13 points from 2009.

Geoff Cousins, Managing Director, Jaguar UK said, "Surveys that are based on customer satisfaction are always of great importance to us because they are a true reflection of how well our products are fairing. We have placed the customer - and their enjoyment of our cars - at the centre of what we do, and while we won't get complacent, Jaguar's success in the latest JD Power survey shows that we design and manufacture cars that fulfil all of our customers' needs in comfort, style and luxury.

"There are now 24,000 Jaguar XFs on UK roads and sales continue to go from strength to strength. We are confident the all-new XJ will be as well received around the country and Jaguar will maintain its status as the premium luxury choice for car buyers across Britain."

The survey, published in the latest edition of What Car?, showed Jaguar XF owners awarded its styling full marks as well as complimenting the car's running costs, performance and refinement.

Steve Fowler, What Car? Group Editor commented, "We know buyers place increasing importance on the annual JD Power and Associates satisfaction survey and how hard car makers work to improve their rating, which makes Jaguar's success this year all the more important and impressive. We've never had any doubts about the XF's ability, which is why we named it Car of the Year in 2008 and why it remains our favourite executive car today. We're delighted that owners have agreed with our assessment."
