The long awaited Jaguar F-TYPE will be debuted at next week’s Paris Motor Show with an expected price tag of £55,000 for the entry-level car. This is Jaguar’s first real sports car since the departure of the iconic E-TYPE.
There will be three F-Type models, powered respectively by 340PS and 380PS versions of Jaguar’s new 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine and a new derivative of its 5.0-litre V8 supercharged unit. They will all feature as we currently understand Jaguar’s eight-speed automatic transmission.
It is expected that the F-Type will go on sale in spring of next year. We have seen images and video footage, which sadly is not officially in the public domain and we are sure that the order book will fill very quickly as soon as it opens.
We will bring you more as soon as we have it, including full specifications and Jaguar F-TYPE prices for the UK.
