To mark the start of the European sales of the Infiniti M35h, Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber raced around the 73 bends and 13 miles of the Nurburgring Nordschleife.

Sebastian Vettel drove the new Infiniti M35h offering 364PS of petrol/electric power and a 0-62 mph time of 5.5 seconds - available at Infiniti Centres throughout Europe since 5th September 2011.

Red Bull Racing team-mate drove the Infiniti M37S Premium, with 320PS of power from the V6 engine with a 0-62mph time of 6.2 seconds and Four-Wheel Active Steer of the Premium S model.

The winner - hybrid/Vettel or petrol/Webber - won't be announced until 13th September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. All that Infiniti will tell us is the Mark Webber was "blown away" by the responsiveness of the Infiniti M35h. Infiniti's Global Brand Ambassador, Sebastian Vettel, said the race against his team mate was "good fun".

The Infiniti M35h, with its top speed of 155mph is a spacious four door saloon offering 40.4 mpg fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of 162g/km.

The Infiniti M35h is available from all 45 Infiniti Centres across 21 European countries, with a price of £46,840 in the UK, £1180 more than the equivalent Infiniti M30d.
