The Trajet Ciel seven seater is available from the start of July, at the value-for-money price of £16,395 on-the-road.

It features all the equipment normally found in the Trajet 2.0 GSi; driver’s and passenger’s airbags, four speaker stereo radio/CD player, central locking with alarm, double folding second and third row of seats, electric windows and door mirrors, power steering, three 12 volt power outlets, front seat pretensioners.

But as a bonus, the Ciel (which is French for sky) includes the following special additions; privacy glass, climate control and air conditioning in the front and rear, heated door mirrors, rear roof spoiler and alloy wheels.

The Trajet Ciel will be available in three colours; Sky Silver, Warm Silver and Blue Planet.

The Trajet has proved to be the ideal transport for the lively family; not only is it terrific value for money, but has ideal performance and low running costs.

The 1997cc engine develops 133bhp@5750rpm, 137lbs ft of torque at 4600rpm, performs the 0-62mph dash in 13.1 seconds and has a top speed of 112mph. It returns an impressive 39.2mpg on the extra urban cycle, and 30.4mpg combined.

The Trajet range starts at £15,495 with the 2.0 GSi, continuing with the £16,495 turbo-diesel 2.0 TD GSi and culminating with the luxurious top-of-the range 2.7 V6 at £18,545.

And don’t forget all Hyundais come with a three-year unlimited mileage warranty and three years RAC Assistance.
