Hyundai Car (UK) Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Campbell as its new Marketing Director.

Jim, 47, took up his new post today (14 October). He replaces Jonathan Spence, who left the company during the summer. Jim has extensive motor industry experience, including many years at Rover Group, Land Rover and Rolls-Royce/Bentley.

Holding a degree in marketing from the University of Strathclyde, Jim spent 21 years at Rover Group in a wide variety of sales, advertising and marketing positions. In 1992 Jim became Director of the Rover Group’s Asia Pacific operation, after which he took up the post of Marketing Director of Land Rover UK in 1997. In 1999 he became International Business Director at Wunderman/Y&R, handling the Jaguar account.

More recently he held the position of Global Marketing Director at Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motors, prior to a brief spell in the hotel and conference sector.

Jim is married with two children, and currently lives in the Cotswolds. He enjoys travel, playing golf, and watching football and rugby in his spare time.
