This is what the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe will look like; it is due to be officially unveiled at the 2012 New York International Auto Show in April.
Hyundai have decided to keep the name Santa Fe for their third generation model rather than allot it number as with their other SUV the ix35. Worldwide Hyundai has sold 2.56 million Santa Fe since the initial launch in 2000.
According to Hyundai this design is based on philosophy of Fluidic Sculpture, the new Santa Fe adopts its own design concept called “Storm Edge,” which captures the strong and dynamic images created by nature during the formation of a storm.
The design adopts the hexagonal grille – a key design cue of the Hyundai family look – a two-tone voluminous bottom car body and wider front and rear bumpers, creating a futuristic and urban-style SUV image.
