Banks, building societies and supermarket lenders may be pulling the purse strings and upping interest rates, but there is still a lender you can bank on to help you get a shiny new car.

Hyundai dealers are offering 0% finance on the most popular models including the i30 hatchback and, for the first time, the award-winning Santa Fe.

For the i30 hatchback in Comfort and Style variants a 20% deposit is all that is required with 0% finance over three years. For example, a customer wanting an i30 1.4 Comfort at £11,155 would put a deposit down of £2,231 then make 36 payments of £248. Buyers choosing the range-topping Premium get even longer to pay with 0% finance over four years.

For those who want the space, style and fuel efficiency of the Santa Fe there is also 0% finance offer over three years. Together with the Santa Fe’s low running costs, this helping hand could bring family-friendly SUV ownership into the reach of many customers.

Hyundai have also extended the exceptional PCP finance offer on the highly acclaimed i10 Classic model. A customer buying mid-range i10 1.1-litre petrol Comfort could pay a deposit of just £1,617 and a first one-off payment of £254. This would be followed by £99 a month for 35 months. The customer will then have the option to make a final payment to own the i10 outright - or they can hand it back to their dealer and walk away.

The finance offers are available until the 30th September 2008.
