The new Hyundai i40 has gone sale priced from £19,600 for the entry level S trim on the i40 Saloon, rising to £28,850 for the Premium 1.7CRDi 141PS Blue Drive DCT tourer.
There are four trim levels in both body formats, ‘S’, ‘SE Nav’, ‘SE Nav Business’ and ‘Premium’.
Standard equipment across the range includes, 16” alloy wheels, Bluetooth� connectivity, air conditioning, leather wrapped steering wheel, automatic headlights with dusk sensor and steering wheel audio with telephone controls.
The i40 ‘SE Nav’ gains DAB radio, auto dimming rear view mirror, climate control with auto defog, heated front seats, LED front fog lights and a seven speaker sounds system. Plus satellite navigation with rear view parking camera and parking guidance system.
The ‘SE Nav Business’ ads to the above specs with the introduction of keyless smart entry with start/stop button and driver’s seat memory function.
The top of the range i40 is the ‘Premium’ which combines all of the above specs with 18” alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof with electric tilt and slide, luggage net, super vision instrument cluster with LCD colour display and lane departure warning.
Power comes from the choice of three 1.7-litre diesel power plants, 115PS with six speed manual transmission, a 141PS and six speed transmission and a 141PS with seven speed DCT.
