The new generation Hyundai i30 goes on sale today in the UK with prices starting at £14,495 for the entry-level 1.4 (100ps) Classic model and rise to £20,795 for the 1.6 CRDi (110ps) Auto Style Nav.
At the launch there will be four engines to choose from - engines (two petrol and two diesels) with five power outputs ranging from 90 to 128ps and four trim levels - Classic, Active, Style and Style Nav.
Blue Drive technologies help the diesel i30 1.6 CRDi (110ps) achieve 97g/km of CO₂, which is 18g/km less than the outgoing model. Where the 128ps 1.6-litre turbo diesel returns combined economy and emission figures of 74.3 mpg and 100 g/km.
New Generation i30 is longer, wider and lower than its predecessor which in turn means more interior space and headroom. The boot space has been increased by 11% with the seats up (378 litres) and 5% with them down.

Hyundai i30 Active – prices from £15,595 - £18,795Gains alloys wheels, cruise control with speed limiter, electric rear windows, leather steering wheel and rear parking sensors.
Hyundai i30 Style – prices from £16,595 - £19,795Adds 16-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, static cornering lights, automatic lights and wipers, electrically folding door mirrors with integrated LED indicators, two additional audio speakers and front parking sensors.
Hyundai i30 Style Nav – prices from £17, 595 - £20,795In addition to the above Style Nav models feature a touch screen satellite navigation system plus rear-view camera with parking guidance mode. Located atop the centre stack, the sat-nav system is displayed via a 7-inch screen.
Factory-fitted options will include metallic or pearlescent paint - plus three 'option packs' available exclusively for range-topping Style and Style Nav models.
For example the £750 - 'Convenience Pack' adds keyless entry with engine start/stop button, automatically folding door mirrors with LED indicators and puddle lights, plus chrome exterior door handles with illumination.
The £1,000 - ‘Individual Pack' includes leather upholstery (artificial leather centre armrest, artificial leather instrument binnacle cover and artificial leather door centre trims), and a supervision instrument cluster with LCD colour display.
The new generation i30 is protected by Hyundai’s Five Year Triple Care assurance – a combination of a five-year unlimited warranty, five years of roadside assistance and five years of vehicle health checks.
