Thursday 29th September 2011 sees Hyundai take over the newly updated LED billboard in Piccadilly Circus in the heart of London featuring Hyundai's 'New Thinking. New Possibilities' creative.
The 116sq metre space has been held by Sanyo since 1978 and is estimated to have been seen by over 56 million people from around the world every year.
The billboard was the only remaining one to use the traditional cold cathode tubes (neons) introduced in 1923. The billboard now uses state-of-the-art high-resolution LED lights.
