Honda’s compact MPV will be launched next month with ECO, a prepaid five-year service and three-year insurance package

16 November marks the debut of the Honda FR-V, a new "three plus three", offering clever versatility with quality and style. It’s also the launch date of Honda ECO (Easy Care Option), a prepaid option pack offering 5 years’ servicing and 3 years’ insurance* for retail customers.

The option, which is being piloted with FR-V, is available to the original buyer of the vehicle at the time of purchase and promises big savings for retail customers.

Combining servicing and insurance packs with Honda Aspirations PCP finance means that the FR-V 1.7 SE is available to retail customers with 3 years’ insurance and 5 years’ servicing costs prepaid for just £300 per month with an initial deposit of £3,222. Monthly amounts for the 2.0 SE and 2.0 Sport models are £320 and £330, with deposits of £3,412 and £3,555 respectively.

The prepaid service pack costs £330 and includes the first five (12 month / 12,500 mile) visits up to and including the fifth year / 62,500 mile service. The package represents a customer saving of more than £600 for petrol FR-V models, or £700 with the diesel. Unused services are transferable to a second owner, if the car is sold within the 5-year term.

The insurance option is also available to the first buyer (subject to conditions). The three years’ Hondacare comprehensive insurance option offers savings of over £300 for a typical 35-40 year old customer - in some cases considerably more!
