Hot on the back of winning the What Car? Reliability Supertest 2006, Honda has taken top honours in the Fleet News FN50 reliability survey for the second year in a row.
In the individual vehicle categories, Honda's Accord took number 1 spot and the British built Honda Civic was 5th. Overall, Honda took a convincing win, with more than double the number of commendations for excellent reliability compared to other brands.
John Maslen, Editor of the FN50 comments, "With data compiled from the top 50 leasing companies, this is one of the most comprehensive and in-depth surveys of its kind and a coveted title to win; that Honda has won it for the second year running is extremely commendable."
"It's great to receive such an honour, especially when you consider the sample size of the survey - nearly 1 million cars," comments Tom Gardner, Head of Aftersales and Parts, Honda (UK). "We're proud of our reputation for industry leading reliability, but accolades such as this put substance behind our claim, and further consolidates our position as the number one choice (in both fleet and retail) for hassle free motoring. Combine this with strengthening residual values and you can see why Honda has become a serious fleet player."
