The Honda Insight hybrid will be unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The 5 door Honda Insight hybrid revisions include reduced CO2 emissions of 96g/km thanks to enhanced aerodynamics and powertrain efficiency. Lower fuel consumption is aided by reduced engine friction, changes to the CVT transmission and improved air conditioning.

The revisions and improvements allow the 2012 Honda Insight to benefit from exemption form the London Congestion Charge. The new model also sits in the lowest VED band, meaning no annual road tax, and it remains in one of the lowest groups for Benefit in Kind taxation.

The exterior of the 2012 Honda Insight has been refreshed to include a new front grille at the front and a new slimmer spoiler which improves rear visibility.

The engine and suspension have also been adjusted improving both ride comfort and stability. The interior quality has also been improved.
