The new CR-V is now in Honda showrooms across the UK - with a competitive insurance rating that's lower than anticipated.
We've already claimed that 'Not all 4x4s are the same' - highlighting the fact the new CR-V is smaller, cleaner and safer than other SUVs and many saloon cars on the road.
Now we can boast an insurance group rating across the entire CR-V range - it's 12E whichever model you pick.
Just to refresh your memory, pricing for the new CR-V starts at £18,800 for the 2.0-litre i-VTEC SE.
But if you want to catch the outgoing CR-V - still the most popular SUV in the country with over 15,000 sold during 2006 - there's currently £2,000 off every model in the range, an offer that lasts until the end of March.
