Honda CR-V Prices and Specifications (2015)

The face-lifted Honda CR-V will go on sale in March priced from £22,340 for the base 2WD petrol model and rise to £35,620 for the new 1.6-litre i-DTEC 160PS 4WD diesel with the nine-speed automatic transmission.

The main change for diesel buyers is the loss of the 2.2 i-DTEC in favour of the more efficient 1.6-litre i-DTEC 160 PS available with manual or nine-speed transmissions - all 4WD, the 120 PS diesel remains in place with 2WD and the petrol 2.0 i-VTEC is there is you prefer petrol.

Both the diesel and petrol top of the range EX grade models are available with Honda's SENSING Pack comprising the new i-ACC adaptive cruise control system.

There are four trim levels, S, SE, SR and the top of the range EX;

The entry level S comes with a decent spec comprising Multi Info Display (i-MID), driver power lumbar support, Idle Stop, Dual Zone Climate Control, cruise control, 17-inch alloy wheels, fabric interior, Hill Start Assist, steering wheel stereo controls, power windows and heated power mirrors, daytime running lights, alarm and immobiliser, one touch folding rear seats There is also a CD tuner with 4 speakers and USB/iPod auxiliary input.

Standard safety equipment includes Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Anti-lock braking system (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Trailer Stability Assist (TSA) and central locking.

The Honda CR-V SE gains a leather steering wheel and gear-stick, rain sensing auto wipers, dusk sensing auto lights, auto dim rear view mirror, front and rear parking sensors, rear view parking camera, one-touch power windows (also key fob operated), electrically folding door mirrors, 6-speaker stereo, Honda CONNECT, an HDMI and two USB jacks, front fog lights.� Automatic editions also gain hill descent control and paddle shift controls.

If you move onto the CR-V SR then you add 1/2 leather with Alcantara interior, heated front seats, ambient lighting for driver/passenger footwell and doors, high power audio with subwoofer, Honda CONNECT with the Navi option, colour-coded roof rails, privacy glass, Bi-HID lights with Auto Levelling, active cornering lights, High Beam Support System, headlight washers, 18-inch alloy wheels, passenger power lumbar support and manual passenger seat height adjustment.

The SE and SR models can be specified with the DASP (driver's assistance package) for an additional £500 which adds forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, blind spot information and high bream support system.

The top of the range also comes with smart entry, electric driver's seat with memory, leather interior, power tailgate, panoramic glass roof and metallic door-step garnish. And it can be spec�d with the inclusion of the Honda SENSING Pack for £900 comprising collision mitigation braking system, lane keep assist, i-ACC, forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, blind spot information and high bream support system.
