The Honda Civic range has been enhanced for MY-2015 ahead of next month’s Paris Motorshow.
On the outside there is a new front nose for both the Hatchback and Tourer models that encompasses a new bumper design with new headlamps incorporating daytime running lights. The hatchback receives a new rear bumper, revised side skirts, a rear spoiler finished in black and LED rear combination lamps.
The interior is upgraded with new fabrics, door trims and metallic black control panel. There will be a new Honda Connect informatics system running Android 4.0.4 on 7” inch touch sensitive screen - it offers smartphone connectivity, a DAB/AM/FM radio tuner, internet radio, Bluetooth connectivity, satellite navigation as an option and reversing camera.
All MY-2015 Civic models will now come with Honda's City- Brake Active (CTBA) system as standard. CBTA offers autonomous braking at speeds below 19 mph to prevent or mitigate low speed accidents.
Honda has now introduced the Civic Sport Hatchback with the option of either the 1.6-litre 120PS diesel engine or 1.8-litre 142PS petrol unit. The new Civic Sport pays homage to the forthcoming Type-R with its bespoke 17” alloy wheels, a front bumper design with lower mesh grille and black headlining.
