At the 2011 Motor Trader awards, Honda dealers have been presented with a number of category awards and "Highly Commended" honours.
The "Most Improved Dealership of the Year" award was presented to Crown Honda for its Edgeware Road, North London site.
The judges noted: "Low morale, stagnant sales and poor aftersales performance were all issues Crown's management had to tackle quickly. With everyone pulling together, from 2008 the parts sales climbed 44 per cent, bodyshop work increased and new car sales went from 89 per cent of target to 157 per cent."
Lauren Cross from Lancaster Honda was awarded the "Service Adviser of the Year" award.
The judges commented: "Colleagues and managers speak highly of her skills and of her willingness to learn. As our judges noted last year, she has made a point of working with technicians to understand as much as possible about parts being repaired or replaced on customers' cars, so she can explain these to customers as competently as possible."
Brayley Honda won two "Highly Commended" mentions - "Most Improved Dealership of the Year" for the Enfield dealership and Grays Essex won an award for "Customer Care".
Dave Hodgetts, Managing Director of Honda (UK) commented: "Congratulations to Lauren and all at Crown Honda and Brayley Honda. Their achievements rightly recognise the hard work that has been put in this year, and illustrate just how vital an excellent dealership experience is in generating satisfied customers who will return time and time again."
