Honda is launching its 'Saturday Night at the Drive-In' events which celebrates the greatest car films of all time.
The launch event is going to be held at Lookers Honda in Nottingham in the first in a series of five events taking place throughout the 2011 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season as part of Honda's sponsorship of the Honda Racing Team.
Produced by Future Cinema on behalf of Honda (UK), each event is to be hosted at dealer showrooms across the country with film fans and racing enthusiasts getting the chance to experience an evening of glamour and racing.
Films will include 'The Italian Job' and 'The Fast and The Furious', Honda is planning a true film premier experience complete with a red carpeted entrance, paparazzi and a canape reception.
Guests are invited to dress up as one of the characters and have their photos taken with a film-themed background using a giant green screen. Honda Racing BTTC drivers Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden will be at the event, sharing experiences and team aspirations throughout the evening.
'The Cannonball Run' will take place at Lookers Honda, Lenton Lane, Nottingham, NG7 2PT on the evening of Saturday 16th April 2011 from 7.00pm, following the qualifying round of BTCC at Donington Park.
