The all-new Ford Focus C-MAX has been named winner in the compact MPV category at the very first British Insurance Car Security Awards, presented by Hazel Blears MP, Minister of State at the Home Office.
Backed by Thatcham, the Department of Transport, UK Insurers and supported by the Home Office, vehicles were rated according to theft of and theft from the vehicle. The Focus C-MAX achieved the highest score to scoop the award in the highly competitive Compact MPV category.
Standard security features on the Focus C-MAX include Thatcham category 1 alarms, remote-control deadlocks, engine immobiliser, locking bonnet and visible VIN numbers.
