Ford Motor Company Limited is sponsoring Mela 2003, one of Britain’s biggest celebrations of Asian culture and lifestyle.
The three day event, at the Wembley Exhibition Halls in London from 10 to 12 October, is a showcase of Asian life focusing on fashion, food, entertainment, music and business, with an appearance by Bollywood star Karisma Kapoor.
Ford is the main sponsor and will have a number of vehicles on display including the Focus C-Max, Sportka, Fiesta, Galaxy and Transit Connect. There will also be the chance for visitors to win a Streetka in a prize draw, with all proceeds going to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity.
Peter Fleet, Marketing Director, Ford of Britain, said: "Ford Motor Company is very proud to be title sponsor of Mela 2003. Once again we are delighted to support this celebration of Asian culture and lifestyle. We hope that our involvement will help us build deeper and longer-term links with Asian communities across the UK.
"Ford appreciates the rich contribution that the Asian community has made to the quality and diversity of life in Britain and we highly value the relationships that we enjoy with our many Asian family and business customers."
