A lucky Wisbech man, Gerald Harnwell has won tickets to the UEFA Champions League Final at Old Trafford, Manchester, next week (28 May) courtesy of Transit Connect, Ford’s International Van of the Year, 2003.
Gerald Harnwell, senior partner of the Wisbech-based company Harnwell Electrical, took a Transit Connect for a test drive from his local Ford commercial vehicle dealer, TC Harrison of Peterborough and entered his name into a prize draw to win. The exclusive package includes overnight accommodation at the deluxe Manchester Thistle hotel, meals, transport to and from the game, as well as the tickets. Arsenal fan Gerald has decided to treat his sons, Arsenal fan Ricky and Everton fan Tony, to the all-Italian final at Old Trafford.
“Harnwell Electrical is a 27 year-old family-run company that carries out electrical wiring contracts for both commercial and private customers within a 100 mile radius. All employees were impressed with the Transit Connect and the company will add a few to their fleet of Ford Escort vans in the next few months,” said Gerald.
The Transit Connect has proved a winner many times over since its launch with the ultimate accolade of International Van of the Year award bestowed for 2003.
